Once a Quarter, We will Donate a portion of our profits to this wonderful organization. I was born an army brat in another country. There, some drugs prescribed during pregnancy were no longer allowed here. because of the birth defects they caused. I was born with several of my joints not fully formed, one of which being my hips. Once back in the states, the Shriners helped us by getting what we needed to get my hips repaired. I spent 4 years in an out of the hospitals. I still remember a lot of that time. One time in particular was when my mom brought me to the circus. I was in a full body cast in an extremely odd position, strapped to a chair, in a little red wagon. One of the Shriners picked me up out of my chair and carried me down to the front row. Another followed behind with my chair and wagon. They asked a very kind family to switch places with our seats so that I would be able to see the circus. This made huge impression on me. I was all of 4 or 5. I still remember very well them walking around with their fancy hats and both of my very attentive doctors. Dr. Brodsky & Joseph my hats off to all them. They gave me the opportunity to walk and do a little more.
